Streets would be, in my opinion, more a roguelike. Streets of Rogue is what would happen if you got a 13 year old kid to. I'm currently playing Rogue Legacy 2 which is an amazing addition to the roguelite genre. Both local and online multiplayer accommodate up. I only found the co-op option in game for local play. Roguelites are similar, but there's a mechanic by which your character improves or makes the game somewhat easier with each successive life.
